There is a time to turn the other cheek, but that doesn't mean you let someone beat you to death either, there's a balance.<BR/><BR/>I don't know all the details of the situation, but if it were me and a doctor screwed up a medical procedure on my wife, almost killing her in the process, and I was expected to pay for it, that would not be happening.<BR/><BR/>When the Bible says, "Husbands love your wives" part of that love is sometimes expressed by standing up to people who try to take advantage of them. 1st Cor. 13:7 says, "Love always protects".<BR/><BR/>Hope this helps you man. It doesn't mean we have to be sue crazy, but it also doesn't mean we just let people push us around.
